One of the reasons English Bulldog puppies are so expensive is the parents usually cannot breed on their own. They must be bred by artificial insemination which is a very time consuming and expensive process. Progesterone testing is also required to make sure you are doing it at the perfect time of the heat cycle, this too is hundreds of dollars and requires a minimum of two tests to be accurate. This is Dakota during her 2008 insemination.
